Dankzij een goed draaiende bar kan SVE zorgen dat iedereen voor een redelijke prijs fijn en kwalitatief kan tafeltennissen. Om dit mogelijk te maken zijn onze barvrijwilligers onmisbaar.

Bardienst competitie
Net zoals vorig jaar worden ook dit jaar de competitie spelende teams weer gevraagd om bardienst te draaien. Het is de bedoeling dat ieder team gedurende het seizoen minimaal één keer bardienst draait.
Barcursus 
Als barcommissie vinden we het belangrijk dat jullie niet in het diepe gegooid worden en de bardienst goed verloopt. In de bijlage vinden jullie 10 veel gestelde vragen over de bardienst. Lees die door en mocht je graag een instructie krijgen vóór de bardienst, neem dan contact op met de barcommissie (Michiel Westerveld op of Laura Daatzelaar, of mail naar bardienstsve@gmail.com). Bij SVE zal Michiel of Laura dan een korte cursus geven.
Daarnaast is er een elektronisch slot bij SVE, deze wordt geopend middels een app. Van elk team kan 1 teamlid een tijdelijke toegang krijgen tot deze app, zodat de deur goed afgesloten kan worden bij vertrek. Neem contact op met Melanie van Berkum in de week van je bardienst om toegang te krijgen.
Zaaldienst: 
Naast de bardienst ben je er als team verantwoordelijk voor dat de zaal netjes achtergelaten wordt. Dit betekent het opruimen van de teltafels, telborden en stoelen die in de speelzaal staan. Van élk spelend team wordt verwacht dat zij dit zelf na hun wedstrijden opruimen, spreek de teams die dit niet doen hier dus vooral op aan als je zaaldienst hebt!

Schrijf het alvast in je agenda en bespreek met je team wie bar draait. Mocht je onverhoopt een bardienst toch niet kunnen of ben je ingedeeld op een datum die voor jullie team echt niet uitkomt probeer dan onderling te ruilen met een ander team en laat het even weten.

Veelgestelde vragen bardienst SVE

  1. Waarom heb ik bardienst, ik betaal toch contributie?

SVE is een vereniging en draait volledig op vrijwilligers. Om de contributie laag te houden zodat tafeltennis voor iedereen betaalbaar blijft en omdat het lastig is om elke competitieavond mensen te vinden die voor een kleine vergoeding achter de bar willen staan, vragen we elk competitie spelend team om één avond per seizoen bardienst te doen.

  1. Ik heb nog nooit achter een bar gestaan, help!

Dat is geen enkel probleem! Het kassasysteem bij SVE is zo ingericht dat iedereen er mee kan werken. Daarnaast kan Michiel een korte uitleg geven en zijn er altijd mensen aanwezig die kunnen en willen helpen bij vragen.

  1. Hoe laat moet ik er zijn als ik bardienst heb?

Rond 19:30 uur komen de eerste teams binnen dus het is fijn als je er rond die tijd bent.

  1. Hoe open ik de zaal en wat moet ik doen?

De zaal is op vrijdagavond meestal al geopend. Zo niet, dan kan het pand geopend worden via de app Nuki. Neem vóór je bardienst contact op met Melanie van Berkum. Zij zal één iemand uit jullie team de mogelijkheid geven om via de app Nuki de deur te openen (en sluiten). Als je binnenkomt moeten de lampen aan (achter de bar in de hoek), de afzuiging aan (achter de bar in de hoek en naast de koelkasten) en haal je de sleutels uit het sleutelkastje (achter de bar in de hoek). Daarnaast staat er op de trolleys in het voorraadhok een levering die door de Makro is geleverd. Deze moet ingeruimd worden in het voorraadhok.

  1. Wat moet ik doen achter de bar?

De avond begint vaak met koffie en thee. Gedurende de avond is het de bedoeling om de bar bezet te hebben om drankjes te pakken en aan te slaan op het kassasysteem. Als de wedstrijden zijn afgelopen willen de meeste teams een teamschotel uit de frituur. Zorg dus dat je op tijd de frituur opwarmt (langzaam opwarmen, beginnen op 100 graden en in enkele stappen naar 180 graden) inclusief de afzuiging (in het voorraadhok, aan de andere kant van het muurtje bij de frituur).

  1. Hoe werkt het kassasysteem?

Bij de computer ligt een uitleg van het kassasysteem. Daarnaast kan Michiel uitleg geven over de werking van het systeem en zijn er altijd mensen aanwezig die kunnen en willen helpen bij vragen.

  1. Wat doe ik als het bier/fris/sportdank op is?

In het voorraadhok staat de voorraad. Als er iets op is in de koelkasten dan kan je het vanuit daar aanvullen.

  1. Hoe laat kan ik sluiten?

Er is geen vaste sluitingstijd. Uiteraard kunnen teams die langer willen blijven altijd aanbieden om zelf het sluiten op zich te nemen. Over het algemeen zijn de wedstrijden rond 00:00 uur afgelopen. Inclusief een drankje en teamschotel is het +/- 01:00 uur als iedereen in elk geval hiermee geholpen is.

  1. Wat moet ik doen vóór het afsluiten?
  • Vul de koelkasten aan vanuit de voorraad in het voorraadhok
  • Zorg dat alle lege flesjes zijn opgeruimd en in het juiste krat zijn geplaatst
  • Zet de frituur uit en maak deze schoon
  • Zorg dat de afwas is gedaan. Er is een vaatwasser in de keuken: zet de rechterknop aan, schuif de bak met vaat erin en druk op start. Er ligt ook een uitleg bij de vaatwasser.
  • Zorg dat alle tafels (onder elke lamp één tafel) en stoelen (4 stoelen per tafel) goed staan
  • Zorg dat er een doekje over de tafels en bar is gehaald
  • Zorg dat de lampen uit zijn en de afzuiging uit is
  • Zorg dat de deur naar het voorraadhok op slot is en de sleutels in het sleutelkastje zitten
  1. Hoe sluit ik het pand af?

Neem vóór je bardienst contact op met Melanie. Zij zal één iemand uit jullie team de mogelijkheid geven om via de app Nuki de deur te sluiten

Bar during competition
Just like last year, this year the competition teams will again be asked to do bar shifts. The intention is for each team to do bar shifts once during the season. We also ask you to take the paper that is under the stairs in the hallway to the container in the parking lot. This container is open.
Bar instruction
As a bar committee, we think it is important that you learn how everything works and that it runs smoothly. As a team, you will receive an email prior to your bar service as a reminder and about the Responsible Alcohol Serving Certificate.

Frequently asked questions bar service SVE

  1. Why do I have bar service, I pay membership fee anyway?

SVE is an association and runs entirely on volunteers. In order to keep the membership fee low so that table tennis remains affordable for everyone and because it is difficult to find people who want to stand behind the bar for a small fee every competition evening, we ask every competition playing team to do bar service one evening per season.

  1. I have never stood behind a bar before, help!

That is no problem at all! The cash register system at SVE is set up in such a way that everyone can work with it. In addition, Michiel can give a short explanation and there are always people present who can and want to help with questions.

  1. What time do I have to be there if I have bar service?

The first teams arrive around 7:30 PM, so it is nice if you are there around that time.

  1. How do I open the hall and what do I have to do?

The hall is usually already open on Friday evening. If not, the building can be opened via the Nuki app. Before your bar shift, contact Melanie van Berkum. She will give one person from your team the opportunity to open (and close) the door via the Nuki app. When you enter, the lights must be on (behind the bar in the corner), the extractor fan on (behind the bar in the corner and next to the refrigerators) and you must get the keys from the key box (behind the bar in the corner). In addition, there is a delivery on the trolleys in the storage room that was delivered by Makro. This must be put away in the storage room.

  1. What do I have to do behind the bar?

The evening often starts with coffee and tea. During the evening, the intention is to have the bar occupied to get drinks and to check the cash register system. When the matches are over, most teams want a team platter from the fryer. So make sure you heat up the fryer on time (heat slowly, start at 100 degrees and in a few steps to 180 degrees) including the extractor (in the storage room, on the other side of the wall at the fryer).

  1. How does the cash register system work?

There is an explanation of the cash register system at the computer. Michiel can also explain how the system works and there are always people present who can and want to help with questions.

  1. What do I do if the beer/soft drinks/sports drinks are finished?

The stock is in the storage room. If something is finished in the refrigerators, you can replenish it from there.

  1. What time can I close?

There is no fixed closing time. Of course, teams that want to stay longer can always offer to take care of closing themselves. In general, the matches are over around 00:00. Including a drink and team platter, it is +/- 01:00 if everyone is helped with this in any case.

  1. What do I need to do before closing?
  • Replenish the refrigerators from the stock in the pantry
  • Make sure all empty bottles are cleared away
  • Turn off the deep fryer and clean it
  • Make sure the dishes are done. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen: turn on the right button, slide the container with dishes in and press start. There is also an explanation by the dishwasher.
  • Make sure all tables (one table under each lamp) and chairs (4 chairs per table) arepositioned correctly
  • Make sure the tables and bar are wiped clean
  • Make sure the lights are off and the extractor fan is off
  • Make sure the door to the pantry is locked and the keys are in the key box
